Top Ten of 2016: CSIGO

This was a great year for music as there was a ton of awesome stuff released. It was tough but I finally whittled my choices down to the following albums.

Mitski – Puberty 2

Mitski’s genre is indie rock, according to Wikipedia. I think she is the new princess of Grounge!

Oneohtrix Point Never – Garden of Delete

Wild, daring, and rebellious, what only Russian musicians know for long centuries.

Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool

After 5 years intermission, the new magic is born.

Danny Brown – Atrocity Exhibition

He is an American hip-hop artist from Detroit, there is some southern feeling to his style. He makes very crazy music, with rattling, clanking sounds.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Nonagon Infinity

This band is an another Australian psychedelic crew, among Tame impala, Jagwar Ma, and Connan Mockasin (New Zealand).

G.L.O.S.S.  – Trans Day Revenge

This album is the pure fight for freedom!  Very impressive and exactly one minute longer, like the last one!:) This album is an 7–minute long crush.

Iggy Pop – Post Pop Depression

Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds – Skeleton Tree

David Bowie – Black star

The three old Musketeers of popular music, as without them, there would be no rock and roll.
Iggy Pop is the forever young punk, he made this album with Josh Homme.

Nick Cave, the king of  ballads,  wrote his latest album about  a very sad story :his son’s death. A very touching album.

David Bowie is gone, but this record keeps him alive for ever.

Lajkó Félix – Most Jöttem

He is a genious world musician. His grooves on citera (zither), and on violin sound like our soul in joy, in sorrow, in love, in anger.
